Goodbye Blues

喜歡Greta Salpeter的聲音，那是一種令人感到驚嘆的聲音，一個天生的涉人心魄的女聲。



Goodbye Blues 是 The Hush Sound 樂隊的第三張專輯。風格依然延續了前二張的風格。The Hush Sound 的音樂里提供了一種不同于以往那種單一的飽和rock場景，這種 indie-folk-pop-rock 風格崩發出充滿詭異的吉他即興片段、振奮的鋼琴部分、層次分明的男女重唱。這種風格難以歸納，但卻是最原始最充滿想像的。



The Hush Sound 一開始是由 Bob Morris(guitar) 和 Greta Salpeter(piano/guitar) 組成。Greta Salpeter 從三歲就開始學習古典鋼琴。后來經過朋友介紹認識了 Morris。兩人發現致趣相同，盡管一個7年級，一個10年級，但兩人還是一有空就做自己的音樂，在2004年寒假，兩個開始正式寫歌，并起了個名字叫"The hush" ，而"sound"是兩個人覺得可能叫出來會更上口最后才加上的。隨著深入，兩人覺得“二重唱”沒意思，就決定在招兩個人組成個“四重唱”，Darren Wilson (drums)、Chris Faller (bass)就是在這種情況下加入的。



Faller更是放棄了另外兩個樂隊的邀請，最后加入The Hush Sound，使得樂隊最后完整?！八闹爻�”（每個人都是歌唱的一份子）兩個月后在自己的錄音室完成了小樣，兩個晚上居然賣出了300多張！這引起了Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy發起人)注意并把他們簽下自己旗下Decaydance。隨后他們重新發布了那張小樣并起名“So Sudden”。2006年樂隊發行第二張專輯 《Like Vines》。
