Painting the Sun這張新專輯的發(fā)行商從David Lanz一直追隨的Narada轉(zhuǎn)到了Shanachie,曲風也轉(zhuǎn)變回了曾經(jīng)的鋼琴獨奏路線。為了制作這張新專輯，David Lanz甚至把家從西雅圖搬到了華盛頓的寧靜郊區(qū)，以獲取創(chuàng)作靈感。看來在經(jīng)歷了一段時期世界音樂的嘗試后，這位資深的老鋼琴藝人準備回歸本性，融入自然了
