Ellie Goulding是BBC Sound of 2010的新星榜首. 1986年出生于英格蘭Hereford的鄉(xiāng)下地方Lyonshall,早期創(chuàng)作的音樂以Folk為主,之后在Frankmusik的影響下,轉向 Electro-pop界發(fā)展.與其它Folk或Electro -pop歌手不同的是.她并沒有舍棄Folk或完全投向Electro-pop.而是將兩者結合成 Folktronica(電子民謠).這是Ellie Goulding音樂上最大的特色之一.



Ellie Goulding也是2010年The Brit Awards全英音樂獎Critics’ Choice的得主(2009的得主為Florence+the Machine).Ellie Goulding首張專輯Lights于2010年3月發(fā)行.立即空降英國專輯榜冠軍!
