The Album Leaf的新作品實質(zhì)是一張電影配樂。脫離Tristeza之后，Jimmy Lavalle從1998年便開始以The Album Leaf獨自創(chuàng)作發(fā)行專輯，曾擔(dān)任sigur ros的暖場嘉賓，因此很多人認(rèn)為那種空幻遼闊的音樂氛圍或許只有人潔地靈，遠(yuǎn)離塵煙的冰島才能孕育出來。其實不然，來自美國圣地亞哥的Jimmy Lavalle為我們打破了一種傳統(tǒng)的思維束縛，他很努力，很細(xì)心的記錄大自然中的各種音樂，把氛圍音樂與電子，后搖融合的相當(dāng)自然，優(yōu)美。并且許多專輯封面也制作的很抽象，仿佛有一種魔力吸引你，讓你不自然的會打開封面嘗試去聆聽里面的音樂，感受其中的靜謐之美。
