Sophomore album, following 2004's self-titled release, fromFrench duo who cover 80s new wave and new romantic songs ina loungecore/tropicalia style. Self-consciously arty and ironic - their name references the 60s French "new wave" of cinema and the album is named for the cult film ('Band Of Outsiders') by Jean-Luc Godard - their gimmick has nonetheless made them one of the Peacefrog label's biggest sellers. 新浪潮樂隊（Nouvelle Vague）以抒情又清新的手法重新演繹了八十年代經(jīng)典名曲，作品中處處彌漫著一股法國式的Bossa Nova，Chill out味道。該樂隊新近迅速竄紅，如今已在法國家喻戶曉，成為法國獨具特色、橫跨爵士與流行的大牌樂隊。Nouvelle Vague是法語，意為“新浪潮”，在英語中叫做“New Wave”，在葡萄牙語里則為“Bossa Nova”。這是由兩個法國鬼才Marc Collin和Olivier Libaux.所組成的音樂出版計劃，意圖將英國人創(chuàng)造的新浪潮(new wave)經(jīng)典作品以巴西人的新浪潮(Bossa Nova)方式來演繹。



他們從包括XTC, The Specials, PiL, Dead Kennedys, Depeche Mode, Killing Joke等英國上世紀80年代后朋克時代的著名樂隊處借來多首經(jīng)典曲目，尋來音色甜美的女歌手與他們搭配，除保留原曲的一些基本和弦外，全部以Bossa Nova和六十年代流行樂的形式翻唱。通過巧妙地將這幾樣南轅北轍的曲風進行融合，最終誕生出的是帶有他們獨特風格、深具感染力的作品。陌生新鮮的組合加上雋永流長的經(jīng)典曲目，誕生于巴西的Bossa Nova樂風在法國被演繹出另一種風味，無比的休閑與優(yōu)雅，慵懶之中藏著絕對至尊的高貴品質(zhì)。



該樂隊同名大碟還沒有現(xiàn)世就已經(jīng)登上多個英國排行榜高位，受到多本權(quán)威音樂雜志如《Music Week》、《NME》、《OMM》和《Q》等的一致好評，連時裝雜志《GQ》和《Marie Claire》也對Nouvelle Vague的唱片給予極高的評價，將其譽為品位一族必聽之選。該專輯一經(jīng)推出就在世界各地取得極佳的銷售成績，刮起一股難以抵抗的新浪潮風。



Bande A Part是該樂隊的第二張專輯，樂隊成員表示新專輯會給大家聽覺的完美享受，而歌迷更是期待他們的表現(xiàn)。
