金屬大國(guó)瑞典的Dream Evil來頭不小，因?yàn)楸緢F(tuán)正是由In Flames、Hammerfall、Opeth、Dimmu Borgir等歐陸金屬大團(tuán)之知名制作人Fredrick Nordstrom所創(chuàng)立，由他負(fù)責(zé)吉他和鍵盤，其他成員包含吉他手Gus G. (Mystic Prophecy,Firewind)，鼓手Snowy Shaw (Mercyful Fate, King Diamond) 以及曾參與Hammerfall合音的主唱Niklas Isfeldt和創(chuàng)作的貝斯手Peter Stalfors，一支明星級(jí)金屬樂團(tuán)終於在2002年成軍！
Dream Evil is the pet project of producer Fredrik Nordstrom and guitarist Gus G., both of whom felt they could easily become a strong force in the metal underground if they teamed up. Forming a power metal foursome with drummer Snowy Shaw and vocalist Niklas Isfeldt, the band recorded Dragon Slayer and released it in the summer of 2002. In 2003, the humorous Evilized put a new spin on their sound, offering several self-consciously silly lyrics that fit well into their improved approach.
