Atliens

說唱組合Outkast由出生于1975年5月27日的Dre和出生1975年2月2日的Big Boi組成。倆人的第一次見面是在亞特蘭大城立高中，在他們畢業(yè)前，就已經(jīng)和L.A.和Babyface的LaFace公司簽定合約，并很快推出了單曲《Player's Ball》，為他們制作的是給TLC制作專輯的全部班底Organized Noise。



1996年，Outkast發(fā)行了第二張專輯《ATLiens》，Big Boi與Dre再次向世界展示出Southern Hip-Hop積蓄以久的能量。太空Funk節(jié)奏與Stone、Mandrill甚至George Clinton這些Funk大師音樂精神的充分展現(xiàn)，結合兩人絲綢般滑溜的南方式flow，以及狡黠的歌詞內(nèi)容，令這張以Hip-Hop為載體的唱片達到了讓人瞠目結舌的效果，不僅贏得了150萬聽眾的支持，也令他倆走到了拓展音樂邊界的Hip-Hop霸主地位。
